NON-PROFIT FUNDRAISING ASSISTANT- Entry Level

GUTK seeks a Fundraising Assistant at a critical juncture in our fundraising campaign(s) for a brick and mortar building. GUTK Fundraising Assistants will create new fundraising structures within the community both online/offline.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Conducts research, and solicitation efforts to include individuals, ministries, and businesses.
- Offers skilled and graceful special events support (i.e. project management) from concept to completion.
- Some evening work may be required.
- Maintains accurate records compiling data from multiple sources.
- Sets up meetings.
- Provides administrative support to the Founder, and other staff related to GUTK’s fundraising activities.
- Assists in creating campaign and outreach materials (i.e. newsletters, flyers, etc.)
Required Skills/ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred yet not required).
- One year non-profit fundraising experience (preferred).
- A keen sense of confidentiality.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Highly organized ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with a team of ministers (of various denominations) dedicated to the mission and continuous empowerment of the African/ Indigenous community (respectively).
- Quick turnaround, excellent responsiveness, and outstanding follow-through.
